Agriculture Technology Has Evolved
Agriculture technology is the application of science and technology to agriculture, specifically with the goal of enhancing crop production, productivity, market share, environmental quality, and efficiency. Agriculture is one of the world’s largest industries, employing millions of people worldwide. It has an enormous impact on the food markets globally, contributing to the world market for a wide variety of food products. Agriculture technology can also be technology-based products, services, or programs derived from agriculture, which improve various agricultural inputs/ Output processes.
The three main sectors of agriculture technology are management systems, fertilizers and pesticides, and improved tillage techniques and production systems. There are many other technologies as well. Bio cultures are one such innovation that has created a sustainable yield by ensuring that plants are fed with food supplements at a particular time in the growing season. Traditional harvests are often not enough to feed the surpluses that crops create. Bio cultures, however, ensure that sufficient food is produced, even during times of deficit harvest.
